I start my Watchmaking blog today with the intent of providing a behind the scenes look at the watch and clockmaking world in Australia. What I hear so much is a lack of knowledge of what the Watchmaker actually does. So my blog will give the customer an insite into what is not only involved but the problems that can be encountered, stages in a restoration , amusing encounters and various other Horological stories. As the year comes to a close a new chapter opens with my new workshop being finished off and its all systems go with repairs and restorations. I look forward to posting some pictures when it is all in place. So have a Happy New Year and I look foward to a busy 2015 ahead.
